Patio Furniture

Furniture

Every patio or balcony should have furniture, even if you have to buy it, borrow it or rent it.

Large patios should have tables, various types of chairs, love seats or swings.

Small patios may look best with only a chair or two and a small table.  Size the furniture and tables to be proportionate to the space they're in.  For example, small patios should not have large lawn chairs, for the chairs take up too much space and make the patio look even smaller.

Patios without furniture are like cars without an engine - they go nowhere.

  1. Dust and wash off all tour furniture and tables

  2. Damaged furniture should be repaired or trashed.

  3. Fresh paint can make old pieces look like new, and be sure metal ones are polished or freshly painted.

  4. Arrange tables and chairs into comfortable settings or groupings. If you have a fire pit, set several pieces around it.

  5. Cushions clean and colorful. Bright cushions really bring to life a patio. Toss faded and weathered cushions.
