Kids Bedrooms - Ideas to Toy With

How many Bears

If one bear is good, why not have a whole den of bears on the bed or set about in a Disney Land collection?

One or two bears are fine; a whole group is distracting or becomes a display. Beds and book case should not be used as a storage area for toys or collections, but carefully staged with only a few toys or stuffed animals.

Tough Love

  1. All toys should be put away, with only a few visible for staging purposes. Easy to say, tough to do – but pays off in the long run.
  2. Broken toys should be discarded or stored if they cannot be lived without. All toys should be clean - no dirt, gum, glue clinging on them.
  3. Closets should not be stacked high with toys.  Closets doors should operate easily. A significant amount of the toys should be sent to storage.  Remember it's only to be for short while, because your house should sell rapidly because it is well staged.

Rewards for Sacrifice

Every child should be rewarded for doing their part in helping sell the home. They should be given something to look forward to once the sale is complete.

Therefore, a promise to take the child to their favorite amusement park or get them that special toy that they have so long wanted will provide a great reward and motivation.
