 Fruit Bowls
Older kitchens

Create a bread basket with small jars of jamb.

Fruit Bowls

Colorful Fruit or Vegetables

Fabulous and colorful fruit bowls look great when staging a kitchen.

Fruit provides color and texture.  Limes, lemons, green and red apples, sunflowers, oranges, bananas, pineapples, or artichokes are only a few of your choices.  Very the fruit sizes, for example, pineapples versus grapes and strawberries.  Small pumpkins for Thanksgiving.

Avoid plastic fruit, the majority of plastic fruit looks cheap. Real fruit is the way to go.

Fresh fruit - create a colorful display for the table or countertop

  • Fresh fruit in baskets, bowls or trays can be very striking in any kitchen.
  • Color choices are endless.  Choose a color or a holiday theme.

  • Daily check all the fruit for deterioration. Replace any unsightly fruit.

Clean and wash all fruit thoroughly.  For a final touch - apply fruit wax.
Bakery Delights

Bakeries have unique loaves of breads in beautiful shapes. Have a basket with a loaf of French bread with a cloth partially wrapped around the bread set out.

It' Not Fruit

That's OK
Small petite deserts are very colorful. Leave out for one or two days and then treat yourself.

Think about a beautiful pie setting on the counter or artfully displayed in a clear pie dish.
